Hey all
I just recently bought a pocketlogger with their software and started logging my car. The problem I'm having is it only logs for a few seconds then quits. I managed to do this log, but it was a 2-3-4 shift. Attached below is the log, and my fuel trims and O2 reading are all messed up. The trims stay the same, and the O2 stays at 0. However my timing climbs to 16, but the gas milage since the 14B swap is horrible, right now I need to fill up and its at 172 milesOMG ! I need help, as this is driving me nuts. By the way, no CEL's have come on, and I check them every log with the Palm.

Normally when there is a disconnect between the logger and the OBD-II port, it's a problem with your byte timing. What version are you using? v1.0 has a manual byte timing setup, whereas v2.0 has an automated setup.

If you are indeed reading front O2, then it looks like your front O2 sensor is dead which will kill your gas mileage and cause you to run really rich. You can check by probing your O2 sensor with a volt meter just to make sure it isn't a problem with the sensor wiring. You can pick up dirt cheap OEM sensors here if you need one.

I have version 1.3, I have set the byte timing as low as it goes, as high as it goes, and all inbetween and it does not make a difference.
The link you gave me does not sell O2 sensors for my '95 GST, all the search listings give me is spark plugs, plug wires, alternators, oil filters, and repair manuals. I did search using an Eagle Talon, as the TSI seems to be the only one available, but are they the same part number? I don't think it would make a difference, but maybe I'm wrong.

Weird, you should definately see a change when adjusting the byte timing. You might want to post that question on the PocketLogger Forum. I'm sure they would be better equipped to help you with that one.

As for no O2 sensors for the '95, that's really weird. I got mine from them and see it is still listed if you search for a '97 GST. You could always call the dealer and ask if they have the same OEM part number. If so, you could just buy one for the '97.
