Hey tuners, i have a quick question.

Will a 2g knock sensor work on a 1g 6bolt block? i know that the 2g sensor is a lot skinnier then the 1g. i figured that the 2g would be a little less pron to fail. let me know what you guys think, or if you know for a fact.

Thanks,
Bryce

No.... You can only use it with the ecu it was designed for. So, if you have a 1g ecu you need to run a 1g knock sensor. If you had a 2g ecu you would be able to run the 2g knock sensor.

**edit** Just saw you have link, but I don't think that will allow you to use a 2g knock sensor either. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, or maybe they can give more input.
