Did you check the fuses?Have you checked to make sure the wires to the horn switch are getting power?
how do i check? This is where the problem has to be, if he was able to connect it to the battery and it work.
Get a voltoneter and check to make sure the wires are receiving power, it may just be a ground.
I believe there is a dedicated horn fuse under the hood. Go ahead ans check all the fuses under there just to be sure.
When you have ruled out the fuse and the ground the problem will be with the power wire.
