Well after all of this the cas will not line up for me to bolt it down still. I have ran out of ideas...The firing order is good the injector harness is good I also tried grounding that one light brown wire to the firewall. Still nothing.....:confused:WTF:cry:

did you change the injector firing order at the ecu and did you adjust the BISS screw too so you can raise your idle.

ok im confused.... when you say that in order for your car to run properly.. you have to swap injector plugs too? i mean my 97 eclipse had a 7 bolt with cas that wasn't connected... and i just installed a 6 bolt swap and just switched the spark plug wires... and is running like a champ without touching the injector plugs...!

95-96 have a cam and crank sensor so they have a different order, thats why we aren't calling them CAS's, the 97 to 99 had a CAS so the firing order stays the same.

There's too much debate on what's a CAS and what's not. I know Mitsu used different names for the same sensor on different years. In any post I make, to make sure everyone understands me and make sure we're all on the same page about which is which, I always refer to the cam sensor as the CAS and the crank sensor as the CPS regardless of the year/make/model of the DSM. Some people like to be uber-technical, but I'd rather have posts that don't require a service manual to interpret.

You don't have a 2Ga CAS or 2Ga ECU, therefore swapping injector plugs doesn't apply to you. The signal from a 1G CAS is the same as the combined CAS and CPS signals from a 2Gb.

When you say "wasn't connected", what were you referring to?

the 7 bolt that was on when i got the car had a cas.... but it wasn't hooked up.. the wires were just hanging.... so when i swapped the 6 bolt swap... i noticed that it didn't have a crank and cam sensor.... like the 7 bolt did... so i just connected as shown on the forums and it runs great...!

How did you put the ECU into idle adjust mode? On 2Gs, you have to use a scan tool or similar device connected to the OBD2 port under the dash to make the ECU enter idle adjust mode, where the ECU centers the ISC motor in it's travel range and doesn't try to readjust the idle speed with it. If you didn't do that the ECU will fight your changes by moving the ISC stepper motor and you'll run out of BISS adjustment before any real speed change is seen.
