I recently purchased a 95 GSX AWD Eclipse. Right now the car has an automatic transmission. I want to convert it to a manual. Can anyone tell me what parts I would need, the amount of labor involved and about how much this is gonna run me???

too many parts... i would either stick w/ the auto and buy TC, shift kit end clutch, ect or buy a new eclispe w/ a 5spd

Buy a parts car, it will take you a whyle to find every little thing that you need.

I also have a 96 RS Eclipse M/T. But I dont think that the transmission will fit up to the 4g63 engine. Could I get a transmission and other parts either off a 2g GST (since its the only other model besides GSX with a 4g63) or any 1g car?

You need the following parts from a same generation M/T AWD car.

clutch/brake pedal assembly
clutch master cylinder
clutch line
clutch slave cylinder
complete AWD transmission
M/T transfer case
rear differential center section
shifter boot
shifter assembly
shifter cables
shifter brackets
shift knob
7 bolt awd flywheel
clutch
pressure plate
throwout bearing
clutch fork

Probably a million other small things, plus rewiring the car so it will start without the automatic shifter in P or N.

Removing the TCU

You do not need a different ECU
You should just buy a 5 speed car if that is what you want. :dsm:
