So i got a 420a turbo :hellyeah: more money in it then in my pocket :ohdamn: but with the turbo it was running hot and there was gonna be soon barely any air flow due to my new fmic that I'm running. the cut out was there when i got my car and i filled it but i realized i need more air flow. I'm gonna finish it with mesh filling it but I'm debating on painting the mesh black of the green of my car.(bumper is getting painted tomorrow) now for the pics

Me personally, I would paint the mesh black. But if you painted it green it wouldn't look bad either. You should paint it the color you like best. That's a nice setup you have there. I'm about to Turbo my 420a. Fun

i was just using gutter guard as mesh, installed it and its like blah for me. my friend wrecked his evo a month ago and he's going to give me his mesh from the grill. but with this it kept my engine temps down a lot

thanks, I've put a lot of work into it with in the year I've had it. its changed so much but i want to go smaller turbo 60trim is fun for the straight aways but i want to spool faster. she's quick at 10psi i can tell you that :thumb:

Sounds awesome. I like the way the evo mesh looks. I have to start figuring out how I'm going to cut my bumper for the intercooler. You should post a picture when you get it on there.

you got it :thumb:

my bumper was cut like that when i bought it but i cut the 3in lines in the middle of our bumper out using a cutting wheel, this is with the fmic cut into the bumper support all the way back, i have pic of that if you want me to pm them to you

That looks pretty good man, I mean its not a perfect show car, but damn you can tell there is a lot effort put into it unlike half the car's I've purchased over the years.

yea by any means its not a show car , its expensive for the green paint and advance doesnt have the right color so my bumper is painted with green off a ford car and the base layer is brown, but you can hardly notice. i just need to clear coat it. but function>form if i had my way i would have a 350z intake duct and a new bumper

Nice reverse hitler LOL. Definitely interesting and unique.

and my car kept overheating and i couldn't figure it out. then i got a new thermostat and it fixed the problem so i figured might as well make the best out of the bumper and added the center section...Keeps temps down! I'm not to sure about what the numbers are but i have a fluidyne radiator and a 12"slim fan

Scotty don't.... Haha, that looks sick man! Any noticeable differences in temps?

yes i can tell a big diff in temps, fan doesnt need to turn on a lot I've noticed. I'm not sure the actual temp readings still awaiting purchasing all new gauges

Nice i think i want to try an evo look on a talon 2gb not sure how it will end up. I dont really think itwould allow enough air flow to really make that big a difference but than again never know. Keep ua updated on your numbers when you get new gauges.
