I just put a 4g63 in my 1998 Eclipse, it has a gold MPI and gold ECU 4 socket I haven't got my wide band lc1 working yet. It has a eco111gt turbo. At first it pulled one code, a circuit malfunction number 2 injector. I cleared it, it starts with starting fluid. It says I have a open loop do to fuel cut or deceleration.

I didn't put the instrument panel in. I also had to hook up to my fuse box. My blackbox was flashed to evo 8 with ceddy mods EGR delete and immobilizer delete. I have 5© before tdc. TPS works with it set at .9 percent I don't know what it is. The guy wasn't running a intercooler and it seems like it might be stuck where the waste gate lever in is.

I could use some help here's pics thanks in advance.

Even after applying some punctuation I'm not sure how to help.
It sounds like you have a basket case on your hands with a bunch of mismatched parts.

The 98 would have used the two relay MPI and Fuel Pump wiring with a black box ECU. Where did this engine come from and what harnesses are you using?

It's out of a I'd say a 95-96. The engine came with a ECU that's gold and metal has four sockets like the blackbox ECUs, the part number on it is 9947. I took the instrument cluster but haven't installed it I may have forgotten something.

I have no power at the injectors, so I'm going to wire in the resistor box from my other harness and give it 12volts and see what happens. Also when I look at live data it says fuel is in open loop due to fuel cut or deceleration. When I take the return line off fuel pours out, is it supposed to do that? How can it build pressure if it returns to the tank as fast as it goes to the fuel rail?

Seems like you need to verify what you are trying to do here.

What year/style CAS are you running?
What year ecu are trying to use?
Is the engine harness in the car still a 98?

Also it seems your fuel pump is pressurizing the system. The injectors are just not being turned on.

So you have a 98 Eclipse that needed a new engine for some reason. You have an early 7 bolt with the 95/96 Cam Sensor that you're trying to install. Was there something wrong with the 98's wiring harness? I would have left it alone and changed the engine parts as required. The 9947 would be a MD309947 from a late 95 and may also be an EPROM ECU if the case and internals match.

Power for the Injectors comes from the MPI relay to the Injector Resistor(s) on the red wire and from there to the Injectors on each of the other four on the resistor(s).
The ECU is what turns the MPI relay on and if you're able to datalog the ECU then the MPI relay should be getting activated. If you not getting battery voltage to the injector resistor but the ECU is getting it you may not be getting power to the other sensors and solenoids that get fed like the injector resistor.

Please take a little more time to proofread your posts so I don't have to.

Throttle position sensor works. Maf works everything works my other harness was hacked to hell and everything was deleted I think I didn't take the. Resister box off the donor vehicle so I've taken the resistor box off my old harness and where would I find the red wire that feeds the resistor box from the mpi relay

There was nothing wrong with the motor I took out.it was a 4g64 it's new really but I got a great deal on a 4g63 turbo motor that's why I took it out

Everyone the Spyder roars again, just needed to wire in a resister pack, did it and fired and idles fine.

Now to wire my wide band, weld my exhaust back together, delete the EGR, put my intercooling pipes in, and see how it runs. Of course check for leaks and such! Soooo happy been a long time but now I have a Evo motored Spyder that should be fun as hell.

Thanks everyone that responded I appreciate it!!
