Just replaced the driver side door handle (manual) because I broke the last one trying to open it.. I now try to open the door using the new handle and it will not open but opens just fine from the inside.. It appears as if the actuator rod (pictured) isn't being pushed down far enough when using the new handle in order to open the door.. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Yep, If you follow the rod down to the latch assy you will see an open area on the rod that you can either zip-tie, wrap wire through, or use a nut and bolt to take up space to make the outside handle work. If had to do this to atleast 4 cars this year alone.

Was actually thinking of doing this just wasn't sure if it would still function.. Thank you very much brahs! :rocks:
