2g clicking noise

I just had a quick question. I just noticed that recently my 95 gsx makes a weird ticking noise from the engine when i start it up in the mornings and sometimes while im driving aswell. Ive read that some say it could b the lifters, should i worry about it if it is?
Almost sounds like it come from the coil packs too.....

any suggestions would b appreciated!!!

Most likely its your lifters man.

You can swap them out with 3g lifters, (revised lifters, not 3g eclipse lifters)

Which can be found on, (dsmgraveyard, parts dinosaur and many other DSM part sites)

Alot of the other dsms on this site have lifter tic, including me. Mines at start up; i let my car warm up to normal operating temps; and it goes away...

It won't hurt anything. Ticking is just annoying haha

I thought for sure it was lifter tick, til I changed my oil and it had more silver in it than my paint job Just my experience, the knock or 'click' seemed to get progressively worse and the knock sensor didnt pick it up either. Just be carefulllll ;D

I would say it is the lifters.
