I just rebuilt my motor in my 95 GST, i had to wire in the clip for a 1g cam positioning sensor but thats all the electrical i did. I went to start the car and nothing, i mean nothing the fuel pump doesn't come on, the starter doesn't do anything, nothing. All that happens is lets say i have the door open the door open light dims and then gets bright again. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I really need some help, i imagine that i have a wire crossed or im grounding out somewhere but i dont know were to look. please help.

Well if your lights are dimming when you try to start then its likely you have a short or your starter is bad. I would go and double check the connectors before you go and get a new starter tho. I forgot to hook up a single wire connection when I got my TRE tranny in and it wouldnt even crank when I tried to start it up. It was I think a grey wire with a small black plug that ran from the fuse box to the wire harness that goes up to the injector harness.

Thanks for the advie i found the problem i forgot to hook up the ground to the block.
