255 lph fuel pump & 16g ?

I have two questions my fuel pump went out last night and need one today. I want to replace it with a walbro 255 and was wondering if it was the stock pump for any other car. The reason I was wondering I would like to go to my local parts store (O"reillys) and get one right now. If any of you could help that would be great.

Second thing I am new to DSMs and what is the differance between a 16g and a big 16

Not yet. That's on my ever-growing list of things to do for this spring when it warms up. I have a friend who's an electrician and I try to get him involved in most of my projects. (Plus his dad has a huge plastic thermoforming machine shop!!) So far he's helped me install my intercooler, wire up my slim-line fan, and install some fog-lights in my wife's car. Rewiring a fuel pump should be good practice for him for when he starts modding his Tiburon.

does any one know the part number of the denso surpa part, or what year it is for.

I don't know how the the Denso compares

Same as the stock factory Denso but you'll really need to rewire for the Supra pump since it draws a lot more current than the stocker or either of the Walbros.

Not trying to high jack the thread, but would a 190 be enough to push 680's on a 20g? I do not plan on going over 22psi..I'll have a SAFC also. Or should I get a 255? i'm not looking for anymore than 300-50whp.


Figured since we were already on a fuel thread I should just ask in here instead of creating a new thread and pissing a few people off.

I run a 190 not rewired and it supports my 50 trim at 24psi on pump gas.

What pisses people off is when guys hijack a thread hopeing that it will get them more attention than starting their own.
