I was talkin to a guy the other day and on his 2nd gen GST he said he had a stock turbo and was running 21 PSI...that seems alittle high for a stock turbo. The only upgrades on the car is that it has a Blitz BOV. No fuel upgrades or anything...21 PSI will be kind of hard on his engine wont it? expecially with no fuel upgrades. OR is this guy just a moron and not know what he has his boost set at?

well if its a t25 he might have his wastegate unplugged and the turbo is just going to its max but we all know they the t25's cant keep up with the motor at 16 psi... my stock turbo held 17psi with no boost controller, but the seals were also bad in it so it was just doing w/e... but chances are he is full of shit

Chances are this guy is a moron, and doesn't know what he is talking about. The T25 can't hold that amount of boost, and if it could there is no way he is running 21 psi on stock fuel components, if he is, he is going to run into a serious problem SOON. Don't believe him, he's lying:notgood: :notgood:

If he doesn't have a boost gauge then how does he know how much boost he is running? I think that this guy is an idiot. Just my .02.:|

are you sure thats the ONLY upgrades? no MBC ?
Exhaust mods+ i/c piping will let the turbo spike to 20'ish PSI uncontrolled.

At any rate- everyone knows anything past 15 or so PSI on a T25 is just extra hot air.
