2 extra sets of RCA's

for some reason im not sure why and what they are there for but i have 3 sets of RCA's in my dash 1 of them i put there and the other 2 i have no idea what they are for the one i put there of course is to my amp but could you please tell me what these other sets of RCA's are for i have um hooked up just because i have the extra plugs on the back of my HU but i dont no what there for possible an internal amplifier only question is why dosnt it sound any different when i hook those RCA's up any help would be greatly appreciated

I had the same on mine i don't remember exactly but i think a set was for subwoofer, a set for regular interior speaker amp and an input set for dvd players, tv's, game systems and things like that.

You could follow them back and see what the go to. Did you install your headunit, or was it already in there when you bought your car??? they most likely are not connected to anything, they are just there and run through your car incase you ever wanted to run a 2nd amp. 2 are probrably outs and 1 is an in for tv/dvd setups. When your doing an install, you might as well run an extra set of rca's just incase you need them later, this way you don't have to run a second set later.
