How many horsepower does a stock 2.4 spyder have and what can i do for more w/o a turbo?

141 hp i believe is the exact number. Well you can go with Apexi N1 Catback exhaust. I don' t think they make intakes for the spyder but maybe one for a 3g would work. Basically the non turbo spyders don't have alot of moddability options. If i were you i would just get some nice 18"s lower it and put a good sound system in it and forget about power mods, or get a GST spyder and mod that.

COPY THAT

I would see about the 3G GS's mods working on your car. i know that they have the 4G64 just like you, but due to improvements over the years, they put out 154 stock, just like the 4G63 put out 195 in a 1G, and 210 on a 2G.

Aight man, let me set you straight since no one here knows anything. There are no known intakes for the 4g64 Spyder. Your best bet would be for buying the filter and adapter for a 2g turbo and just using your stock pipng from the MAS to your Intake Manifold. You can use the catback off a 2g FWD Turbo but it's not worth the money for the ghey HP amounts you are going to get. You can put a stock or modded 2G turbo on your car with 2G ECU and Resistor box. Which is what I am doing, it's expensve but in the long run I'll have a 2.4 GST. Just go out and buy an ebay special turbo intake WITH the adapter plate and call it a day.

THERE ISNT MUCH OUT THERE FOR OUR 2.4 BUT YOU CAN MAKE A COLD AIR INTAKE FOR IT, MAKE A CATBACK AND OPEN YOUR PIPING A LITTLE DONT GO TO A 3 INCH MAYBY A 2.5 INCH OR 2.75. AEM MAKES AN ADJUSTABLE CAM GEAR AND THAT NEEDS TO BE DYNOED. CENTERFORCE HAS A BETTER CLUCH A STAGE 1 AND 3. AND UNOTHODOX RACING MAKE PULLIES. NO HEADERS BUT I HOLLOWED OUT THE FIRST CAT WHICH IS ABOUT THE SAME AS A HEADER OR GET THEM CUSTOM. DONT LOSE HOPE IM NOT AND IV DONE ALOT TO MY RIDE. :thumb: :dsm:

what?? how do you put a stock or modded 2g turbo on it?

I got a wepon r intake with ram air attachment. I could not be happier, I would check it out. The 4g64 in the 00+ are slightly different. The intake is on the right side and the header run on the opposite side of the engine. Both still might work though. Im bout ready to try to mount the 1g throttle body on 2.4.

I dont think gutting your car is the same as a header. Gutting the cat isnt gonna give you much gains, as it creates turbulence in airflow. Youre better off getting a hi-flow cat (resonator) or a test pipe.

Spyders and GS-T's share the same cat-back.
