2.3L 6 bolt build

I am in the market for rods/pistons and need them for my 2.3L build. Was thinking on going with Manley rods but stuck on the pistons. Should I get Mahle pistons or go another route. Let me know guys.

i would go mahle... i had wiseco and they were nice but mahle are alot lighter from what i hear.. glwb man

Is your engine 6 or 7 bolt? If you have a six bolt or plan on swapping to a six bolt I suggest that you buy a new 100mm Eagle 6 bolt crank, Eagle rods, and Wiesco 1400HD pistons. If you have a 7 bolt engine finding a 4g64 crankshaft that needs to machined is easy (I have 5, Not FS) and I suggest the same rods and pistons. If you can afford to I suggest buying Aluminum rods, yes they can be driven on the street, yes some clearancing is needed for the fatter rods but a good machine shop can do it easily, and yes most have a 22mm wrist pin that requires 7 bolt pistons. You will need an aftermarket harmonic balancer, Fluidampr. You will need adjustable cam gears and you use the same timing belt as the 2.0 4g63, the longer ones are for 2.4 strokers because the block is taller.
