I basically just took the step out and smoothed it out, how far down should I go exactly and is the angle entering the wastegate still too perpendicular?

How does it look thus far? I'm using double cut carbide burrs with a Harbor Freight electric die grinder.

Good start. The opening looks pretty good as far as circumference but Id start working on the harder part, widening the rest of it. Almost to where you cant really tell there were any bends before. Have fun.

I ported and ported. Didn't notice much difference when I had boost creep. I got feed up with all the metal shavings in my hand, face, etc.

I ended up buying a larger o2 housing and exhaust housing. I am a happy camper now!

Good start you have there.

Yeah I upgraded to an EVO o2 housing and a 2g Manifold that I'm going to take the step off and I figure with those and the port job it should eliminate any potential for creep to "creep up". We'll find out when I put the 3" exhaust on.

I'm going to head back to porting and I'll post updates as I move along, any answers to the questions above would be great though, thanks!

Update: took more off the walls and attempted to increase the angle the air enters the wastegate. How does it look, how much more should I go?

You know porting this part of the turbo is a waste of time and energy, right? ...Too late now.

wrong wrong porting it does help a lil with creep and flow but it does very lil that i just think its not worth it and its time for t3 or t4 LOL.is this a 7cm housing or a lil 14 b housing?

IDK, you tell us what kind it is. And if you have read some other opinions on the subject, you'd be better informed as to the +/- effects of porting the inlet of the turbine housing.
