1G xs power intercooler kit

I was curious if anyone had pics of this installed on there car with the bumper off. I recently saw a pic on here of one on a 1g with the long route kit. I've searched a bunch of times and can't seem to find it again.

i can tell you that us (TSF) and another verndor we work with on this board have both personally seen these cores blow up. Like end tank go BOOM. I would recommend searching the history of the brand before making any decision.

Good god, I was just thinking about getting this kit but after hearing this I need to do some more research. I just need a good short route kit that can support ~400AWHP. I didn't really want to spend more then $500 so I guess the search continues.

before i installed my ebay fmic i pressurized it to 45psi and it held no problem. i guess it all depends on which one you choose but the welds on mine are perfect and you can't beat the price.

Thanks I knew I saw it somewere on here. ANd it was in the howto section.

A friend of mine just installed his on his 90 GSX and it is sweet. 3in piping, all chrome, VERY high quality silicone hose was included. Maybe a 4 Layer hose. Also included J pipe. The only downside was he has a greddy BOV and all the FMIC kits for 1gs are made with a 50mm tial flange. Also piping is a little long but for the price you really can't go wrong./
Edit: I'd say it's good to support 400hp+. Those people running 50 trims, 20gs or even evo16s this kit is for you.

It's not chrome it's aluminum if it was chrome the pipes would be heavy as hell. I am a fan of ebay fmic kits though. You should have hoppin in on the group buy that was going on in another thread on here it's called "lets talk ebay fimc" Probably could have got it for cheaper than you got it for and you can request a certain bov flange.

You know installing a intercooler kit on a 1g and 2g is completely different and I have done both but custom fabing my pipes on my 2g was a lot of fun. I know hope you get everything squared away Good luck

Actually that group buy is for 2g kits not 1g. THe one bought off ebay for 1g only came with the 50mm tial flange as it was described. It says " you can make it any flange you want" a friend sent him an email asking him and he said the customer can change it after they get it. Your right the piping was aluminum, I didn't install it I just saw it on the car.
