1g VS 2g exhaust manifold and O2 housing

Tell me about the diffrence between 1g and 2g in terms of exhaust manifold and the O2 housing.

Will the 1g exhaust manifold fit a T25?
will a 1g O2 housing fit a T25?

i could be wrong but i believe so since a 2g manifold bolts on to a 1g, so i don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

But why bother?
The 2g manifold flows better then the 1g, at least from what I read.

Yes the 2g mani's and o2's do flow better. Bigger ports plus the 2g mani's are less prone to cracking.

Yes, you can interchange 1g and 2g exhaust manifolds and o2 housings. The T-25 they put on 2gs all have the same mounting setup on their exhaust as Mitsu turbine housings. The 2g exhaust manifold and o2 housings flow better than 1gs, so if you can get a good deal on them it is a good upgrade.

EDIT: ya beat me to the post button...yes, I forgot about the less cracking in the 2g manifolds
