1g TB NT in a 2g worth it?

i have a free 1g NT TB and idk if its worth to install it on my 2g gsx ??
does the 1g TB really add much or any performance ?????
what do u guys think ?????

If you do install it, I'd recommend porting out your intake manifold throttle body inlet so that it matches the 60mm size of the 1g N/T throttle body. Otherwise that extra air will just be hitting the flange.

Otherwise I'd say it's a great, affordable upgrade and doesn't require much to install.

Snowborder the 1g n/t throttle body does require different shaft seals than your typical 1g Turbo throttle body, correct?

Yes, the seals are a bit smaller than a turbo seal. However, I've been rebuilding N/T's with turbo seals and haven't heard any problems with them.

I have wrote down that 10mmx2mm o-rings will work, but I think I'll try the turbo seals first.

You should feel a slight performance increase, but I don't know how strong it will register on the butt dyno.
