Ok so I was thinking about using my stock smic with 2.5" intercooler piping and water/meth but after reviewing the supra smic I've decided I want to use one but there isn't much info of an install on a 1G. I have an UICP already, I just need the turbo outlet, supra smic, and??? I know I'm gonna need I think it was like 2 90 degree couplers and a hard licp but I'm not 100" sure. I can get a supra smic for $80, is that too expensive? Its pretty mint, looked at it today, fins look good and everything. Don't tell me to use a FMIC etc etc, I want to run a smic and water/meth I've been researching and contemplating it for 7 months. I'll eventually be running a 16g, evo injectors, a 190, the water/meth, supra smic, safc, and the rest of the supporting mods etc etc. I only want to be running about 23psi with the 16g and supra smic with water/meth. I'm not sure if thats too much but I guess we'll see. The reason I'm going this route is I can get all this stuff for relatively cheap, much cheaper than buying link etc and my can is a canyon car and auto x so I don't need a lot of power and I don't know how much I need to stress that to people. If anyone knows Nate(spyderturbo007 I'm pretty sure)he'll tell you I've talked to him about what I want to do and supports it because he is almost doing the same thing minus the supra smic.
. youll love the gains but i hated my licp set up it was not beaded to well and i blew it off more than a few times. i took the extra time to weld up a metal bracket to mount mine to, to keep it from contacting the tire. also you will have a new power bulge in your bumper. but i may rethink the 23psi i believe the endtanks seal will blow around 20 im not sure though i maybe wrong good luck
