1g stroker rebuild

I'm rebuilding my engine, decided might as well do it right while i'm at it
If anyone sees anything I've missed/don't need/knows a better part/knows where to get said part cheaper, plz holler!! Thanks

Any locals out there with advise on where to take that block/head for labor, speak up!?

rpmmachining crankshafts are turned .010/.010. they also come with Topline main and rod bearings unless you ask them to substitue topline for cleiviet. if you havent been put on their waiting list you might want to call them with your credit card in hand and get put on. there is at least 5-6 people infront of me, and i dont know how many people have been put on after me. so you'll be waiting a while for the crankshaft.

if you have a 7bolt crankshaft they will except that for a core charge on the 6 bolt 100mm 4g64 crank. they were willing to flex with me becasue the 7bolts are getting hard to come by.

you might want to look into getting the cranksaft kife edged and ballanced. i was quoted $189 for kinfe edging and cleviet 77 main/rod bearings which made my price with the 7bolt crankshaft for trade at $309. their the cheapest by far out there right now. good job finding them.


ps. i dont have time to list all the websites with better prices. but i didnt see any "killer" deals on the other parts. but one things i can tell you, do the vfaq bshaft removal from mitsu it's cheaper (tallahassie mitu dealerhip, run a search on google for "mitsubishi parts" their allways the first one at the top for me) their by far the cheapest parts department in the country that iv'e found.

I would look somewhere other than machv.com for parts. They typically overcharge for. Just a little FYI...
