1g steering wheel in a 2g

has anyone every put a 1g steering wheel in a 2g? i dont like my stock 2g steering wheel and i can get a 1g for free and i think it would look cool. pics would be great.

I'm skeptical on how it would look in the first place...such an angular wheel in a nice rounded 2G cockpit..

Ive been trying to get my damn steering wheel off, but im to stupid to freaking figure it out! but i would rather have a sparco wheel than my damn 1g wheel, either im too tall/fat or its to big :thumbdown

I've seen it before, looks fine. If i was going to get rid of my airbag, i'd perfer an aftermarket steering wheel but it looks pretty stock, not that much better, doesn't stand out. Only dsm owners would even notice.

Ive been trying to get my damn steering wheel off...

take off steering wheel cover with the 4 bolts inderneath
then remove the 4 bolts behing the back of the wheel
usually youd use a steering wheel puller they arent real cheap, dont know af any alternatives bsides pounding on it. (not recommended)

Got a steering wheel puller from the local Advance Auto for <17 bucks. I believe that Pep Boys and/or AutoZone have a free rental for most specialized tools, too.
