Where can I buy brand new 1g oem big rods? Also is dsm graveyard the cheapest place to get npr 2g pistons ?

try ebay i wouldnt got to the graveyard, i got mine from npr, oem equivelant from, machinist here in town.

MSRP on new OEM connecting rods is $175.72 each. I can suggest a Mitsubishi dealer who would sell them to you online for $144.00 each, but that just seems assinine considering you can get practically any brand of forged rods they make for less than that.

I have a good set of 1g rods laying around, but you probably wouldn't want them because they're 22 years old. Back when they used to make things to last .

Lol damn that's a lot... I have 3 used big rods but I wanted to get brand new ones for extra assurance but that's too much for stock. What aftermarket rod would go well with a 2g piston for a DD

For the most part, you can't use aftermarket rods with OEM/Stock pistons. There's nothing wrong with old rods that are still in good shape. They don't have a shelf life or anything, they're steel rods. Any machine shop could recondition them as well.

Before you suggest a vendor, you may want to look at there feed back rating...

Avoid graveyard like the plague. Id rather pay 30% more for any part just to put them out of business than repeat my cv shaft disaster. If they can f*ck up a cv shaft boot then I dont want to know how there reconditioned rods turn out. Big end is probably about as round as a stick of butter.
