I bought a 2g with a 6 bolt motor that had a blown head. I rebuilt the head and Im trying to tune with dsmlink. Im having to make some major compensations with Mafcomp and I think I do not have the proper base fuel pressure in my tune because Im not sure which one I have. I read that major mafcomps can be caused by having a low base fuel pressure, (not sure if thats true) but I put in that Im running 43.5 which it might be 37psi. Is there a way to tell a difference between a 1g and 2g stock fpr? Thanks in advance!

The 1g manual and 2g fpr are not the same pressure..

The 2g and 1g are not directly interchangable. There different styles.

2g is 43 ish psi of fuel pressure..1g manual is 38 psi..1g auto is more around the 43 psi.

Sooo you should confirm if you have manual 1g/auto1g fpr..Or the 2g fpr..Like I said above they are differnt pressures.

Which if you confirm the fpr...Would fix your pressure settings via link.:thumb:

i know they aren't interchangable, and i was researching all of the different base fuel pressures, 1g auto is 43, 1g manny is 37, 2g is 43.5 is what Ive been seeing. My question is if there is a distinguishing factor between them, like physically look different. Does a 2g fpr not fit into a 1g fuel rail? because Im pretty sure its a 1g fuel rail. the easiest way would be just getting an AFPR haha, but im short on cash as of right now. just trying to work with what Ive got

Here is a quick pic i found online with the 2 side by side, the 1g is on the left, and the 2g is on the right.
