1g LCD screen options

I like the dvd head-units but the location of the head-unit in 1g's looks like it wouldnt fit correctly. I was thinking Maybe just getting a dvd compatible head unit and Installing a screen somewhere. Anybody Have a LCD screen installed in their 1g?

What about molding it into the passanger side of the dash?

I've seen it done on lots of cars where the airbag goes, but the 1Gs don't have passenger side airbags, do they?

Still have to finish the detail work to make it perfect! It is running off my car pc which is behind my drivers seat. I have a dvd burner under the drivers seat, touchpad mouse where the ashtray was, and moved all the stock switches to the center console. I run the RoadRunner front end and it controls movies, music, navigation, etc. Sound is fed into the aux port of my Pioneer head.

What about heat? I haven't been able to come up with a GOOD idea for that, but the heat selector and position cables have been rerouted for easy access.

And please ingore the trash in the pass floor board....I live out of my car.... It IS clean now.
