1G Intercooler

I have a 1990 Laser Turbo, and a 1992 TSI AWD Talon.

Now i took the intercooler off of the talon, along time ago(blown engine just parts now) I have taken off the laser intercooler today.

They have their differences. mostly just the pipe that connects to the LICP.

I'm wondering if there is any major differences...aka...one is better than the other...

To my knowledge there is no performance difference between the two. The different lower pipe and mounting tabs are due to the 1ga and 1gb differences.

the intercooler on my GSX doesnt look like either of those... are those what all stock intercoolers on 1g's looked like?

Stock 92 Talon TSI AWD intercooler, and stock 1990 Laser RS-T intercooler...

I'll be going front mount...hopefully by august...if not it'll be the winter project

i believe it is also the difference between 1GA and 1GB. no performance gains. sidemounts blow hahahaha after 16PSI you might as well be hot piping it
