I got mine off eBay. I don't remember the company, but I'll look. They were really good quality.

How easy were they to install? I screwed up a speedo once on an SE-R I used to own. :thumbdown

Extremely easy. They are just overlays so you don't need to take the needles off. If you mess something up putting them in you shouldn't be working on a car :thumb:

I have the same ones that talontsi01 has. Got them for around $25 on ebay. I like the mix between reverse and normal indiglo, and they were easy to install (less than an hour).

Got mine from procarparts.com, cheap and looks good.

I have a 94 Talon ES. I'm looking at the white reverse glow gauges. All of the ones I see on ebay are like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7910232409&category=43952
The problem is that the Tach is the same (9k - 7k redline) , but the speedometer goes to 145 with no mark after it. Yet my current one goes to 140, but has another 5 mph mark after that. I'm assuming that the speedometer will stay accurate and it's just that the aftremarket gauges use the same lines, just not the same label?

I'm guessing the ones that go up to 145 MPH would be good enough, but just wanted a second opinion.

Thanks for the link. I already won the auction though. Black Cat's gauges go by 5 mph increments as do the ones i got off ebay that look identical. Weird. My stock speedo goes by 10 mph increments - could that have been a difference between eclipses and talons?

Be careful installing those gauges. I put a set on my car and ended up ruining my oil pressure gauge. Whatever you do DON'T TAKE THE NEEDLES OFF. its extremely hard to get everything set back right and thats how i messed up my gauge. The speedometer is a lil tricky too but if it falls from zero, the best way to get it back is to remove the needle very carefully and put it back to where it sat before you did the install. It may be helpful to take a picture of the gauge before you start just in case this happens. good luck with the gauges.

The first time I installed my gauge covers, I messed up my oil pressure gauge too. The next set of gauge covers I installed, I removed the oil pressure gauge from the back of the gauge cluster. There are just two screws that hold the gauge on, and it is very easy to fix and reinstall. The other gauges can be a little tricky when it comes to the needles. I never removed any of them. I just used a gentle womanly touch. Good luck!

I have a little problem with the guage lights. Tonight I drove the car around, testing the boost out. Everything worked fine, I even had the headlights on and the guages lit up fine. But when I went out to inspect the car later tonight, the gauge cluster wouldnt light up when the headlights were turned on. The headlights turn on fine, as do the turn signals, but the parking lights do not.

I havent done anything to the car electrically, except splicing in a wire into the "ash tray" light wire (checkd it with a test light, it gets power when the lights go on, and dims with the dim switch as well, so I thought it was a good wire) by the connector for the boost gauge light. I also grounded a wire for the same boost gauge light. The end of those 2 wires were hanging in the a-pillar guage cluster together. They might have touched too...

What the hell is the problem? Ive checked all the fuses I know, and I cant find the goddamn problem. I dont think Id like driving at night without gauge lights.
