Hi. I have some questions that I could not find.

I'm doing a 2g head on my 1g. Also swapping to a 2g intake manifold to match the head ports. I of course have the 1g coil pack and power transistor. These 2 mount to the 1g intake manifold and they have a specific bolt pattern/placement that matches the ones on the 1g IM. The 2g seems to have a different mounting place and bolt pattern.
How do I go about in mounting the 1g coil pack and power transistor to the 2g?
What have you guys that 1g"s done to mount your 1g ignition system when going 2g head and 2g I.M?

they don't fit right, bolt holes wont' even line up... come out to where i'm staying on west center and ill trade you a set of 2g's in good shapoe for your 1g parts, and if you decide to go back i'll just swao you back, i have 1g, 2g and some other "G" of mitsu coil packs laying around and several ignitor/transistor brackets... come out tonight while i'm machining new bushings for the clutch pedal and i'll hook you up for a simple exhange of parts (as long a i have spares i don't care what year they're from i'll make brackets to fit the stuff some where )
 
NO problem, HOpe that makes everything fit nice and neat for ya! so what's it gonna take to talk you out of that hx-35?? you rode in the PTE6776RS experience today..ya interested in some swappy-tradey action ???? 8)
 
Yeah. That was intense!! I was concentrating on not releasing bladder substance all over your car seat!!! Lol.

The 2g bracket swaps worked great!!
For those people that might run into the same problem that I had when swapping from 1g intake manifold to 2g manifold on their 1g dsm. You will need 2g coil pack and power transistor or swapping coil pack and power transistor brackets from your current 1g items to a 2g brackets.

Have i not waited long enough LOL j/k bro

Anyway, tomorrow we need to go over what is neede to getyou back behind the wheel of that car, if i have to donate labor or parts, so be it, i wanna see you driving a fast DSM (and one you've paid more than enough dues to deserve to be driving daily)

PLusits a good reason for me to start machining something custom for a 1g car too :D

I'll try and leave work early since the weather will be nice but the customer will be home and i'm workin in his garage and since he's also my doctor and now days a friend as well, i'll play off his motivation for building wiring harnesses on his project LOL

it was really good cathing back up with you, so today/morning/tomorrow whatever you call it we will continue what began yesterday/today/earlier LOL

To be honest after less than 2 hours sleep because of pain the night before i can't believe i'm still awake after taking my meds and some valium (optinal med i have also - makes you sleepy) but i am i think still going from the rush of that launch/tire roasting and the fact the clutch is freaking awesome now and i have no complaints about driving and shifting that old AWD trans now :)
