I checked the posts but I cant find someone with the same situation. My issue is that when I turn my high beams on all my low beams just turn off so I have no front lights. On the dash it says my highbeams are on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

So you are saying that with the headlights on low they work fine, but when you flip the highs on they go out and you have no headlights? Usually when the highs are on the lows are off, so your statement was a little confusing. Try getting behind the headlights and unplugging the connector and replugging it in a couple times. Sometimes they can get a little corrosion on the connectors and that might be your problem. Unplugging and plugging them back in a few times helps clean up the corrosion on the terminals and will allow electricity to flow again. The only other thing I can think of is if the high beams were blown on both headlights, but this would have to be pretty rare unless you had one out that you didn't know about and now the other one went too. That's all I can think of for you to try right now. Good luck:)

correct me if im wrong but isn't it a seamless beam bulb in a 91 because they are flip ups meaning its a single bulb. that would mean something is wrong with the high beam switch or the connector on the back of the bulbs.

k I will take a look at the connectors, cause yes on the 1g its a single bulb and the lights are brand new.

GraveDigger: "when you flip the highs on they go out and you have no headlights" that is correct

Weirdly enough, the wiring on my coolant temperature sensor had gone bad and now that it has been fixed the lights magically work.
