Just wondering because I was at the junk yard last week, saw a un-molested MAF so I grabbed it.
Last summer I couldn't seem to get steady logs, one pull would knock, I'd correct it then next pull it would be fine, then to double check the next pull would knock again somewhere random... Same thing all the time. Sometimes my car would pull way harder than usual, then sometimes i could feel the timing being pulled. Lots of potential with a decent tune, hard part is getting it perfect.
Would the lower honeycomb removal affect any of this? Or is it phantom knock? Bad knock sensor?
