1g hacked maf affect safc tuning?

Just wondering because I was at the junk yard last week, saw a un-molested MAF so I grabbed it.

Last summer I couldn't seem to get steady logs, one pull would knock, I'd correct it then next pull it would be fine, then to double check the next pull would knock again somewhere random... Same thing all the time. Sometimes my car would pull way harder than usual, then sometimes i could feel the timing being pulled. Lots of potential with a decent tune, hard part is getting it perfect.

Would the lower honeycomb removal affect any of this? Or is it phantom knock? Bad knock sensor?

With all the mods i just read on your profile id step it up to a 2g maf. and leave the combs in the 2g maf. 1g is so restrictive when you start adding more and more power.

I was planning on getting a 2g MAF and a crushed 1g BOV this summer so I can tune 20psi. Oh, and a dejon 2g MAF 1g intake pipe Anyone has any, or all of these for sale, PM me.

But... I'm a little worried about fitment issues around my UICP. I already had a hell of a time getting the stock intake to fit, I had to extent the stock one to get it to reach my turbo inlet.
