1G 1g GM MAF / MAFT Tuning Help!

Alright...I have a 1g AWD TSi...Im running a front mount intercooler, stage 3 ported Evo 16g turbo, 550cc injectors, GM MAF setup. Does anyone have an idea of where i should set my MAF translator to compensate for my upgrades?? (the most accurate tune job, until my wideband comes in.)

Currently my car is doing, what feels like fuel cut at like 8 lbs of boost...or could it be detonation?I dont know? ..the car idles smooth though....

My Maf was tuned for my previous set up and let my car run 16lbs no trouble..however, since i have changed SO much, my MAF is way off to what i am now running..so any help would be appreciated.....

set the base knob to watever the instructions say to set it for 550cc inejctors...
I found that if the car breaks up, up top.. lean the bish out, it took me a couple of clicks before my car was smooooth all the eway to redline, but watch for knock and timing obviously

im thinking about getting a gm 3", and from what you guys are saying, it sounds like you can change the air fuel ratio with just the maft, does this mean you dont need a datalogger, or safc2? i was thinking about going eprom also, but can you do everything you would need to with a simple set up such as fuel pump, 3 inch turbo back, stock injectors, starion fmic, and some intake piping? if you can that would be great, saves me an extra buck or two...

It's similar to using the SAFC it can tune your fuel and it has a few other bonuses. You still need a datalogger.

I set the Maf to 550 already (sorry i didnt mention that)..but i will try messin with it..i know it takes a lil messin with the MAF to aleast get it to run smooth..
