Can anybody school me on how to make this all work? I was thinking i could find a fitting to replace the rubber hose section with and just run the line from there but im not sure!

Thanks!

I would just find a fitting to replace the rubber part and run from there. IF you can get it off. Make sure to clean those threads really good and use some antiseize when you install the line.

As nasty as that looks I would pick up a new fuel sending unit all together.

Actually it's not that bad, i pulled it apart a few months ago to install the 255 and it came apart easy....

Im just looking for the correct fitting/adapter size to make it as easy as possible....

If you are keeping that stock hard line from the fuel pump hanger this is what you need:
Mitsubishi Evo/Eclipse DSM Metric to -6AN Fuel Line Adaptor [TN-DSM6I] - $24.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

It is a it is a female inverted flare fitting allowing the stock fuel line to screw in and seal, the opposite side is a -6AN fitting allowing you to run a line to the filter.

STM also has the same fitting, but it isnt flared, you will need to use thread sealant. It comes in there Tank to Rail kit.

The thread pitch is 14mm x 1.5.

goodluck

Thank you!!!!

Thats exactly what i needed!

Now does anybody know the fitting's i would need to make the 255 inline pump -6?

don't worry I got you back buddy!!:thumb:

M10 x 1.0 to accept a variety of adapter sizes. the link below is a standard Walbro external pump. Hopefully that's the one you are talking about, if not, then you can look up the pump you have on summit racing and it will tell you the thread size.

Walbro GSL392 - Walbro High Pressure Inline Fuel Pumps - Overview - SummitRacing.com

so the fitting you would need is a M10 x 1.0 to -6AN

Like i stated i have the intank 255 already installed, im going to run a inline 255 and needed to know the corect fittng size to make it -6.......

Thanks a TON!!!!!!
