1g fuel rail on 2g UPGRADE??

I was looking into purchasing an AEM Fuel Rail for my 98 GSX but have been told that I should just use the 1g fuel rail which I do have. Is swapping the 2g fuel rail with the 1g an upgrade. Any advise fellas!

I dont think its an upgrade... its the same, just a few millimeters shorter... which makes it easier to stick a AFPR on the end of it.

Shorter on the driver side is the only advantage. Like he said^^^^^^^^^ makes it easier to install afpr.

Yes like stated above shorter just right for them FPR's. Just curious why AEM? Fittings are a beotch and stockers are good for up to 500whp!

yea, i was having a real hard time with the afpr with the 2g. thats why i'm looking to upgrade. so the 1g should work for me huh.

Look in my gallery for pics of my low buck AFPR setup. I used a stock 2G rail and modified it with good results.
