Resolved 1G Fuel Pump Rewire?

I am looking for a more detailed tech. article on rewiring a 1g fuel pump? Im just not bright enough to understand the one I have.

Have you seen this one? VFAQ. Basically, what you have to do is run a thick gauge wire directly from the battery (with a fuse inline) to a relay. The relay will only send power to the fuel pump when the stock fuel pump wire is getting power from the ecu. This will reduce the voltage drop that happens on the tiny stock wiring. You will need:

- 10 gauge or thicker wire
- fuse and fuse holder
- relay
- time!
