1g cam gears on 2g

Just wondered if anyone here knew if it was ok to use 1g cam gears on my 2g head...holding them side by side they look practically identical...its just the 1g ones look sweet so i put them on. Havent started it up yet and prob wont for awhile yet but just wondered.

If you don't need the 95-96 style cam sensor on the head, you can use 1g gears. They are interchangeable aside from the cam sensor trigger plate.

yea that is what i thought (forgot to mention in first post). I am running a 6bolt in my 2g so i dont need the plate
