Chilliwack,
hey anyone know wat the 1g bov is supposed to sound like on a 2g, i have it installed and it doesnt have that sharp pitch sound like the 2g bov did, it now sounds like a whooshing sound??? thanks

the reason for putting a 1G BOV on a 2G is to fix a problem. the 2G plastic crap BOV leaks under any boost above stock. the 1G will hold alot more boost, especially when crushed. if you are modding your car and plan to up the boost, keep the 1G BOV and be happy with it, or buy an aftermarket one. if you plan on leaving the car stock, and you like the sound of the 2G BOV, then put it back.

no i dont care bout wat sound it makes, im jus asking wat it supposed to sound like cuz i want to know if actually supposed to sound like wat it does, it sounds odd, want to know if its working properly or if theres a leak somewhere...thanks

When I upgraded to the 1g BOV, it sounded much louder and was more like a whooooosh of air. I also changed the UICP and intake so I think those upgrades also add to the sound factor.
