ok im going to buy a 1g bov on ebay, and i see alot of "adapter plates", my question is if i buy one of these off ebay for my 95 eclipse gst do i also have to buy the adapter for it?

Yes, you do. The IG BOV has a different flange setup than the stock 2G and without it, you'd be up a creek.

Nice choice!

damn, thats a shame...
what about HKS, Blitz are those good blowoff valves for the gst?
dont they vent into the atmosphere? or can you change it?

Dont vent your bov unless you have a blow through setup. I use greddy type s and it does the trick, I heard the best about hks, but i dont think you can recuriculate it without welding a thingy on it. 1g bovs do the trick for you budget guys.

I'd have to agree with that. The 1G BOV is reliable and holds boost up to 20psi without leaking. Performing additional mods like crushing or using a stop leak kit will let you hold 26psi or more. It's a great piece.

Damn, a new member beat me to it!
