Is there a difference in the 1g and 2g 02 sensors?I managed to put a 1g 02 sensor in the sensor location after the cat in my 2g but i have a 1g motor in a 2g.Just wondering if it will make a difference in the fuel trims.

First of all, 1g's only have 1 o2 sensor. You put that sensor after the cat on a 2g? Because 2g's have 2 sensors, after the turbo, and after the cat. I don't believe the 2nd sensor in a 2g really matters, it just throws a cel if it isn't there. I think the front o2 sensor right after the turbo is what controls fuel trims.

Yeah the second o2 sensor is there to check on your cat. Use the 2g sensors on the 2g no matter what engine you have. The o2 sensors work for the ecu, not the motor.
