how many god damn o2 sensors do the 2g gst's have? so far i found what looks like 3? do i really need all of them is it necessary?

^ Like he said, we only have 2 o2 sensors, one on the o2 housing and another right after the cat in the center of the car.

Yup as mentioned above there are only two 02 sensors. The front one is the most important which relays information to the ECU regarding fuel trims. The rear sensor strictly checks that the cat is functioning.

whats up? soemone down the line who previously owned you car may have had a wide band of some sort installed just for data purposes, lots of times people remove there mods if they are forced to sell or if it is something tha could void a warrenty. and yes people forget to remove everything. i discovered a few forgoten mods on a srt4 that where couseing the owner lots of electical headaches and they all had to be removed one of wicht was a wide band translator that was replaceing the front o2 sensor but the translator its self was removed. look and see what you have in there. the o2 sensors should look some what slim on the sensor prob end and will have 2 wires for the front sensor and 4 for the down stream sensor. A wide band will look thicker at the prob or it even might look like a little boob with a nipple and should have 4 or more wires.

if thas is the case would it be before the cat or after the cat? i have afc neo would that be what it is also the exhaust is aftermar.ket

a wide band will always be locaited before the cat close to the o2 houseing if not in the o2 houseing

People often stick them further down the exhaust than the o2 housing. The higher temps there are rumored to kill them sooner. A common place seems to be in front of the flex section, so any leaks in it won't affect readings.
