1g 94 trouble?

hey there i just got a 94 tsi needed work to get it going it had a hks bov that was making it run like shit no ect sensor that was replaced with some shity coolant gauge ne wayz finnaly got the car runing good till the other day i was on the highway and blew of intercooler piping and of course ran like shit till i put it on but after i put it on i started my car and it stated rite up but it sounded like a snowmobile with fould plugs so got all new plugs still did it first start turned it off turned it back on then it was normal again drove home was fine for a couple days then did it again then snapped out of it i was told that it could be the cas but then i also noticed i have a used junk yard ecu and it says 91 gsx not eprom on it so then i thought well should my car have the 6bolt cas? since i have 7 bolt also i have 2g maf and 510cc inj supposidly dont knoe wut to do any help would be great sry if i possted this in the wrong place i hate the word newb.

Since you already replaced the plugs go ahead and replace wires too. Then do a boost leak test for sure. These are some easy things that you can check.

ive put new wires on and i have no boost leaks im sure its somthing else.
