Day 1 of getting the car . Clutch kit, water pump kit and motor+ transmission mounts changed. Here are some photos

After getting the car fixed and drivable she went to get a smog, her first fuel up, oil change, coolant change and burp. She was driving good but would still over heat a lot for some reason.

Round 2 of coolant change and burp but then realized the coolant pipe was rusted and leaking, changed the hose first hoping it was just a hose, but still leaked after warmed up. Found a guy parting out a 420a and picked up his coolant pipe and left marker light pig tail since mine was cut off for some reason.
Funny thing is when I went to go pick up the part, my clutch slave cylinder gave out… 30 miles away from home. Had to get towed.

After doing everything I can think of before doing head gasket, I wanted to try a CAI and see if it would help with my engine overheating and as I expected, it worked. It only has over heated ever once and a while but rare now. Usually only on very hot days.

Decided to upgrade from old rusty brakes to some new ones with new pads.

Decided to get her a HKS super dragger on her since she had a broken and rusted OEM. Only muffler. Maybe a full exhaust down the road. Here are some pics of before and after

Got her a dc tie bar. Was kinda hard to find.. To be honest not much of a crazy difference but it’s there

Got her tien springs , you can see the difference from the front, rears we’re not changed on the same day but the next. You can see photo of tien Front and rear.

Decided to clean up the headlights and make them look new.

Changing out old under hood shifter bushings to new aluminum ones, changed out soft base bushings to a bit more stiffer ones ( yes they were upside down in the photo but I corrected my self when it popped off for a test shift) got on a short throw Megan racing and while I was at it I decided to get new batter shims because one of half broken and causing the car to turn off and not turn on after a single drive.

New bucket seats ! Slider Rails coming soon. Broke my center console trying to adjust passenger seat ..

Cleaned up intake with carb remover. Response was a little better then before.

Decided to get a carbon fiber center piece. It’s a slap on but it’s made with real carbon. From special carbon . Com

Decided to restore my wheels since it’ll be awhile till some that I want. Car hasn’t been messed with much at the moment. I do plan to probably rebuild the front suspension and rear and get coil overs along with it. Here are the photos of before and after with the wheels

Decided to do a brake bleed since I haven’t done it on my last brake job. Here’s the before and after of the fluid.

Currently ripping apart the engine bay and selling off a few things.

Once I pull the engine gonna clean up the engine bay even more take out what I need to and repaint the engine pay up. Probably gonna do it my self with help of others since it’ll be a fun leaning experience and less $$.
