1998 GST Factory maroon paint code

I've searched and only found older years' paint codes. Not sure if they are the same. just looking for the factory maroon/burgandy paint code and name if you know it.

My question is, do you know which code is the maroon? This is useful if I was trying to choose which brand of paint to use to correspond with the factory code, but I don't know which code is the maroon color.. thx anyway.

At this point in history, it doesn't really matter. Your color no longer matches its code, for the most part. Modern paint matching is done by scanner.

but if you are looking for your factory paint code it should be on a sticker inside your engine bay

yeah... trust me your paint doesn't look anything like what it used to. When I did the Turbo wing install on my friend Jessica's 98 NT, her wing had a paint sticker on it that said Wildberry or some crap like that... but it was much darker then the rest of the wing/car.

The name of the color is "Barcelona Red Pearl". Yeah, I know it doesn't look red but thats what the factory calls it. I have a bottle of the Mitsubishi factory touch up paint here. On the sticker on top of the lid it has "AGL5P" and then underneath that it has "T1RO1". I'm not sure if the code is one of these or both. But keep what Defiant said in mind. Hope that helps.

I know its Barcelona Red Pearl... I asked mitsubishi when I got the 97, but her color is the same, and the wing had a sticker on it that claimed it as something else.

and it does have red in it, if you stare at it, it has more red then anything. Burgandy is more of a Purple/Blue color. Our color is like a Red/... I dunno

Thank you romeen. I'm painting the whole car. I just wanted to know the code/name of the color so I can tell the paint shop exactly what color I'm looking for.
