1996 spyder gs compatability?

hi guys. I have another thread, but didn't want to change the the title of it. im troubleshooting my 1996 4g64 ecu seeing as my car wont run. would a 4g63t ecu at least make my car run, doesn't have to be perfect, but like I said, I just want to see if it will start. the plugs are the same.

The plugs are the same, but the calibration is different. THe 4G63t ecu is expecting at least 450 injectors and a differently calibrated maf. Would the car start? Maybe. Would the car run? Possibly, but not very well.

The 4G64 ecu's are difficult to find used and not abused. Our DD GS had very strange electrical problems and after verifying all wiring harnesses, it turned out to be the ecu.

You want to be very sure that any electrical problems are repaired before you plug in the next ecu, otherwise you will have 2 fried ones.
