1995 Eclipse GST Will Not Start
Repair Shop said fuel pump was bad, then MPI/Fuel Pump relay was bad and then the shop blamed the relay obsolescence. Before I took it in I replaced the fuel pump, then I ran a check on the relay and it checked out. The shop started charging me $30/day storage. Had it towed back home! Bought a used ECU on Ebay. Now I have no idea where the ECU is mounted. I think on the passenger side next to the glove box. Where do you suggest I go from here? ChatGPT indicated the the ECU is most likely the problem as the capacitor tend to go bad in the ECU.

A quick and dirty test....turn key on. Check engine light should turn on for 5 sec then go out. Key off listen closely, you will hear MPI relay shutoff after about 5 sec.
Try this and tell us what happens.
ECU is behind stereo. Remove side panels from console/dash etc and you'll see it. 4 connectors underneath, couple bolts holding it to chassis. Slide it out of passenger side.
