1995 eclipse gst stock oil pressure gauge reading no pressure

All day my car was fine but tonight I took it out for a ride and noticed the oil gauge reading nothing. IT was on the L part of the stock gauge. I checked the oil and it has plenty. Could this be the wire underneathe? OR something bad?

Any help is much appreciated.

There is no light on, just the gauge.

Thank you, I went outside after posting this And looked under the front near the oil pan and saw a black wire hanging down. I take it that's for the sending unit. All set hopefully

Mine falls off a lot too. Must be common.

Use a ziptie to hold it on. Not tight but loosely loop it around the wire and the sensor dome. Worked good for me.

I'm glad you got it, yeah that pesky wire comes off easy. The zip tie trick is good
