London,
hey, a good friend of mine just purchased a 1991 Talon TSi.
It has 16g turbo (small) 2g maf 255lph fuel pump autometer gauge set, etc etc.
so on his way home, he smashed third and I believe he has bent the shift fork. I will be replacing his transmission for him but I would like to know if there is anyway to tell what the spline count on the output shaft would be without removing it, I heard they switched midway through 91? do you think I could call Mitsu with the vin and possible get them to tell me?
any ideas on how to tell? maybe date of birth?
Thanks guys! and sorry for the first post being a dumb question, just kind of important and I wasn't getting anywhere on other boards cause no one seems to actually know, they just speculate.
