Ok, i looked but couldn't find what i was looking for, i have a 91 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD withot abs and Auto tranny. I plan on getting some new injectors a gm maf with a cable for dsmlink. But i"m gonna get dsmlnk first of course, but i have a noneprom ecu. my question is, is it worth getting it converted, or could i just get a used ecu from the classifieds? if i get a used one, which one can i swap it it with?

It really depends on how far you plan on going with mods, but you should be fine up to 650cc injectors on pump.
I'd recommend getting the Gen2 MAFT because it has better options than the original, plus you can run a 1g,2g or gm maf. Plus it has datalogging capabilities, timing feature, and "target a/f" with a wideband.
Its also nice since your auto, that no lift shift and 2step launch aren't beneficial to you. These would normally be good features with an added eprom on a 5spd.

Well, i plan on one day putting down 400-550whp. I'll be getting a fmic. With ecmlink v3, i don't need a maft right, if i plan to push that much whp later, would it be good to upgrade to some bigger injectors than 650's or would that not be good on pump gas?

Actually, sorry i didn't read your first post too well.
Correct if youre getting v3, you don't need a maft and i'd recommend probably getting maybe 1000cc injectors since you're not running a piggyback ecu controller.
What type of fuel are you going to be using?
