Resolved 1990 ECU swap

i have a 90 talon tsi and my ecu is fryed. can i swap out a 92 GST eclipse ecu with mine. i was a little hesitant because there diffrent years and the eclipse is 2wd and mine is AWD.

Yea, you can do that
The ecu doesnt have anything to do with the drive shaft

Just make sure that if you have a manual transmission you get an ECU from a manual transmission car.
As the automatics have 390cc injectors and the Manual has 450cc injectors

It would be easier to stick to a 90 ecu then using a 91-94. To make the 92 work in a 90 you need to follow this article.

thats cool, thanks man yea i bought a 92 parts car to swap interior and such other. but thanks for the help
