Hello guys, I'm about to purchase a 90 eprom MD145902 CA. My car has MD145903 which is a Federal. Will the CA ECU work in my car besides the EGR sensors? Thanks.

No problems. I have a cali ecu in my car, you just need to add a 1K resistor to the ecu to tell it that it is a Federal ecu and your good. I don't run any emissions stuff in my car, and everything all good. :thumb:

Thanks, that's what I was hopping to hear. :thumb: Is there an article or diagram as to where to add this 1k resistor to on the circuit board?

That's interesting, could you tell me which ECU you used. I've had many others try adding R129 to the MD145902 ECUs and had it still throw the EGR CEL. We know that the EPROM ECU's have different software versions between the CA and FED versions and that those don't seem to respond to the resistor like the 91-93 ECU's do. If you happened to have the "E" number right under the MH6111 on the CPU that would be real helpful too.
