Ok, first let me say i DID do a search, and found lots of related topics, but it seems like there is a lot of other stuff. Basically, i want to switch from a 1.8 to a 2.0 n/t. I don't want to buy a new car. That is the first advice everyone gives(i searched long enough to get a lot of that advice). this was my first car, and i have lots of sentimental attachment to it. So, i know this is possible, but:
1. How hard?
I have pulled and replaced an engine in my Stealth. I assume this would be considerably easier.
2. What is involved?
What else to i need besides engine? Wiring harness? I know i can still use my tranny.
3. Any other considerations for a '90?
I have read in searches that the '90 is different than the other first gen's. What else do i need to consider?
4. What else can i do while the engine is out?
I would love to rebuild it, can i put in high compression pistons(how expensive), and would that make a big difference?
5. How expensive?
Well, i hope i don't get flamed for this. Please help with whatever you can. Thanks a bunch!
